A special evening dedicated to the memory of Madan Mohanji was held in Indore on 13 July 2019 on the eve of his death anniversary.

It also marked the birth anniversary of Mr. Madhusudan Mahajan an avid music lover who was an admirer of Madanji. Each year his family organizes such an evening. The singers were the well-known mother daughter team, Kalpana and Anuja Zokarkar.

Sangeeta Gupta, daughter of Madanji was invited as a special guest.
